Ways to Support Flood Relief
Many families across Indiana, including in our diocese, have been displaced due to recent flooding. Several churches in the diocese have also sustained serious water damage.
For those who are able, we encourage you to support Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), the official relief agency of the U.S. Catholic Church. CCUSA is already working to provide critical help to those affected, including those in our diocese.

The Merciful Help Center at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is also collecting items for victims of the flood along with gift cards and monetary donations. You can drop off items at the tents in their parking lot (14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel) on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 8am-1pm. Click below to see the items they most need.

Patriotic Bingo
Friday Night at 6:30pm
Join us for a fun night of bingo in Parish Hall to benefit US Armed Forces Veterans and Active Service Personnel. Wear your patriotic finest and enjoy dinner, prizes and a raffle.
Dinner, including hot dogs, hamburgers and desserts, starts at 6:30pm followed by Bingo at 7pm. Family, friends and neighbors are welcome!

Donate Bikes & Gear for Veterans
Bring refurbished bikes, as well as chains, helmets and locks to the St. Alphonsus Sports Field Parking Lot from Noon-4pm Saturday and Sunday. The 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Bikes for Vets drive donates the items to veterans and homeless in Indianapolis.
That Man Is You Starts Tuesday, 6am
Our men's ministry, That Man Is You, starts Tuesday morning at 6am. Enjoy fellowship, learning, small group discussion and breakfast with fellow men of the parish.

Help Make Rosaries for Archbishop Fulton Sheen's Beatification
After Mass on Saturday, you are invited to help make World Mission rosaries that will be used to pray before the Beatification Mass for Archbishop Fulton Sheen in St. Louis on Sept. 24. Archbishop Sheen designed the World Mission Rosary as a concrete way to pray to Our Lady, Queen of Apostles, for the success of the Church’s missionary efforts across the world.
Supplies and instructions will be available in the St. Robert Room after 9am Mass on Saturday, Aug. 22.

If you have previous choral experience, the SAL Adult Choir needs you! The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7p and provides music for two 10:30a Masses each month, as well as feast days. Sheet music and personalized rehearsal resources are provided. Join the fun practicing, laughing, and praying together – the choir would love to have you!
