Pick up your black bags in the narthex this weekend and return them with the below items Aug. 22-23 to help feed the hungry of Boone County.

This Weekend: Donate Refurbished Bikes & Gear for Veterans
Bring refurbished bikes, as well as chains, helmets and locks to the St. Alphonsus Sports Field Parking Lot from Noon-4pm Saturday and Sunday, as well as Aug. 22 & 23. The 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Bikes for Vets drive donates the items to veterans and homeless in Indianapolis.

The Celtic Cross Catholic Gift Shop
You’re invited to attend a store blessing and celebration at The Celtic Cross Catholic Gift Shop on Saturday, August 15 at 1pm. The event will be a rededication of the store, team members and customers to God the Father, God the
Son and God the Holy Spirit. Following the blessing, guests will enjoy refreshments, exclusive discounts and prizes.
It marks the beginning of the next chapter of the Celtic Cross, as new owners Todd and Julia Sparks continue the legacy of Karen Shaw and St. Alphonsus parishioner Tim Shaw as they prepare to enjoy retirement.

If you have previous choral experience, the SAL Adult Choir needs you! The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7p and provides music for two 10:30a Masses each month, as well as feast days. Sheet music and personalized rehearsal resources are provided. Join the fun practicing, laughing, and praying together – the choir would love to have you!
