Meet Our New Staff Members
Jocelyn Herr: Baptism Coordinator
Jocelyn recently moved to Whitestown from Colorado Springs with her husband Christopher. With more than nine years of experience in Catholic ministry and administration, Jocelyn is passionate about serving the Body of Christ, inspired by her personal conversion to Catholicism at the age of 16. She has since had the desire to give back to Christ what Christ’s Church has given to her through the joy of faith.
Jocelyn has served in various roles within the Church, most recently as a case manager and auditor for the Diocesan Tribunal of Colorado Springs. She has also worked as a youth director and Director of Religious Education within the Archdiocese of Denver. Jocelyn and Chris are excited to join the St. Alphonsus Liguori community and look forward to getting to know fellow parishioners.

Lyn Mettler: Communications Manager
Lyn Mettler joined the Church here at St. Alphonsus in 2013, and has been on fire for the faith ever since. She loves walking alongside converts within our OCIA program and has also served as a longtime Mass reader. Professionally, Lyn is a longtime freelance writer and online entrepreneur whose work spans both travel and Catholicism, including contributions to Catholic and national publications. Lyn is currently pursuing her master's in theology at the University of Notre Dame.
She looks forward to putting her communications skills to use for the parish — evangelizing, educating and sharing about the beauties of the faith and all the amazing activities St. Alphonsus offers. Lyn is so grateful to Geri Neita for her many years in this role and hopes to carry the torch forward!

Our longtime Director of Communications, Geri Neita, is retiring after 12 years, and we wish her a very happy, well-deserved retirement! You can read Geri's farewell message in this week's bulletin on page 8.

A Pastorate of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana
If you have previous choral experience, the SAL Adult Choir needs you! The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7p and provides music for two 10:30a Masses each month, as well as feast days. Sheet music and personalized rehearsal resources are provided. Join the fun practicing, laughing, and praying together – the choir would love to have you!
