SACRAMENTAL PREP

Dear First Holy Communion Parents,

Congratulations!  Your child's faith journey is well on it's way.  Father's homily on Sunday reminded us that sharing the Body & Blood of Christ strengthens us in virtue, helps us fight hardships and difficulties and unifies us in our relationships with each other and with Christians all over the world.  He also reminded us that as they (and we) face temptation and sin the sacrament of reconciliation, as an instrument of God's grace and mercy, brings us back to the Lord.  Reconciliation and the Eucharist go together.  I urge you all to practice both this summer to help you and your family be "strengthened by the bond of charity in the sacraments of the Eucharist and mercy of the Lord."
