PARISH OFFICE CLOSURE:
On Monday, September 6, our office is closed in observance of Labor Day.
HAITI RELIEF:
Archbishop Gomez, President of the USCCB, asked all Bishops to take up a special collection to be forwarded to the USCCB’s Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund for Haiti. In answer to this call, Bishop Doherty would like all parishes in our diocese to take up a special collection to support this effort. All funds collected this weekend (Sept. 4/5) will be forwarded by our CFO to the offices of the USCCB handling this emergency fund and support efforts in Haiti.
Middle School Ministry
Let the games begin! 120 youth turned out and had a fun evening at this year's Edge and Rooted kick-off event!

Quarterly Food Drive
Last weekend's food drive was more successful than ever! Thank you so much to all who volunteered and donated items to The Caring Center food pantry.
A special thanks to twins Reagan and Sydney Poetz who organized a drive in their neighborhood, and to their parents for delivering all the bags the girls collected to the truck in our parking lot!

The Third Option
Strengthen your Marriage
Kids are back at school, so now is a great time to focus on your marriage! When your marriage is strong, your family life will be even stronger.
The Third Option is a 14-week marriage program designed to enrich your marriage. The next session begins on September 2nd at Guerin Catholic High School. Meetings are every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 pm; you are welcome anytime throughout the session. Zoom access is also available.

NCYC 2021 Seeks Young Adults
The Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana is seeking young adults who are willing to serve as overnight hall monitors during NCYC at the J.W. Marriott hotel in downtown Indianapolis between 12am-5am on the nights of Thursday, November 18; Friday, November 19; and Saturday, November 21.
Compensation is $15/hour. You may help all nights, one night, or part of a night; two people are needed at all times. Please contact jwade@dol-in.org if you are interested.
