CONDOLENCES:
Please pray for the repose of the soul of parishioner Cynthia Lowes who recently passed away. Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
HAITI RELIEF:
There is a second collection this weekend for Catholic Relief Services in support of Haiti. You may also donate directly to CRS HERE.
BLESSING:
At Masses this weekend, Father will bless all who volunteer as catechists/mentors to children, teens, and adults.
Overcoming Racism
Deacon Tim Perry will lead Stations of the Cross: Overcoming Racism on Thursday, Sept 9. This is the Feast of St. Peter Claver, patron saint of African Americans and enslaved people.
The service will be outdoors, weather permitting, and begins at 6:00 pm, allowing those participating in the Acts 29 Bible Study to pray the Stations also.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, Stations of the Cross will be in the nave.
Middle School Ministry

Dave Pivonka, TOR, host of the popular Wild Goose series.These presentations will challenge us to rethink what it means to answer the call of Jesus to follow Him. Each short video presentation is followed by small-group discussion.

As a parish, we have the opportunity, not only to support the families in need, but also to support the host families who welcome children into their homes and care for them at a moment's notice. If you would like to make a donation to help offset those costs, please CLICK HERE and select "designate a gift." Add the amount you would like to gift and type Safe Families in the space to the right. These contributions are offered to host families for formula, diapers, etc.
